As part of my work with the University of Chester, I will be filming a huge cast for the Chester Mystery Plays this weekend, along with two brilliant graduates. I am contributing much of my own DSLR camera equipment to the production so it will be a really good opportunity for me…

I’m working on a new custom animation, complete with music and synchronised sound effects. I recently moved over to Windows from Mac (I know!) and this is one of my first personal projects I’ve worked on. Meanwhile, enjoy this short demo for the site :-)

It is really nice to see that my Boatyard video was recognised as worthy of a feature in the promo video for EditWithLight. They produce some amazing post-production tools and I snapped their 5D Leaks product up in 2010. Their promo video shows exactly how such footage can be composited…

This video was produced to promote an original and inspiring song by Chester’s local celebrity Matt Baker, to feature as part of Matt Dimbylow’s Paralympic Football campaign at the London Olympics, 2012! Wow!

I don’t usually hang around abandoned boatyards on windy Saturday mornings, and this certainly wasn’t a paid job! However, this intriguing place near Liverpool was the perfect place to brush up on my production skills, and is home to some vintage boat-candy.
